Author List: Richard MacLean, DCR | Expertise Level: Intermediate The public land managers of Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Division of Water Supply Protection (DWSP) have a long history using Esri GIS products. From ARC/INFO to ArcGIS Online’s collections of tools and apps, DWSP has a track record of utilizing ESRI GIS tools for managing the forests protecting the high-quality water provided by the Quabbin and Ware River watersheds. Beginning in 2017, DWSP began the transition from a distributed GIS model with individual data sets and workflows, to a consolidated collaborative model made available by ArcGIS Online. This talk reviews how foresters at DWSP are taking advantage of Field Maps, Survey123, QuickCapture, Dashboards, StoryMaps, Experience Builder, and ArcGIS Pro to accomplish management, monitoring, regulatory, and public communication tasks.
